I had the great fortune of learning about a paint/sculpt event put on by The Autry and the California Art Club just this past Sunday. Outside the museum they had various models dressed in early 1800s period clothing specific to California’s history. There were a few stations each designated for short to long poses and the models rotated depending on the time slot. I finally chose my spot at one of the short poses, so I could capture at least 4 models with quick paintings (which I then finished in the studio). Here is the first of those. She is in an equestrian riding costume. I will also be painting the ones I was only able to capture on camera. There were so many, I was like a kid in a candy shop!
