“Art Out” at the Motion Picture Library

I had the privilege of discovering a meetup group that just started this year called “Art Out”. I recently was able to join them at the MPlibraryartoutMotion Picture Library aka Margaret Herrick Library which is “a world-renowned, non-circulating reference and research collection devoted to the history and development of the motion picture as an art form and an industry.” – Meet Up description. You can read a little more about the library here: Margaret Herrick Library. It’s still funny how I’ve driven all over this city for years and am still discovering architectural icons and landscapes. You can see more beautiful paintings of the library from my fellow plein air artists from that day: Meetup artout photos. If you’re interested in joining us, please do! It’s easy to sign up. Just follow the above meetup link. They’re a great group of people! The next meeting is at the Brand Library, May 9th. Hope to see you there!
